A spiteful, depraved individual has been tormenting the residents of Buttertongue with anonymous letters, letters that read like a laundry list of every form of depravity practiced by the small population of this quiet little town.

A handful of people even claim to know who this disturbed individual is. And then those people start dying, one by one. What are the chances of survival for anyone who tries to uncover the truth?

The question everyone in Buttertongue starts asking is: Will time run out before this handful of murders is solved?

Enter Edie Spoonbill.

Beat back her demons or catch her sister's killer: she can't do both.

Or can she?

With a handful of clues and the renewed faith of everyone she's ever let down, Edie Spoonbill might just crack the case.

If the Buttertongue KIller doesn't get to her first.
